Everything, the place but more than anything Mona and Christophe who are incredible people. We feel like family and Mona is a fantastic cook!

Personally I think Barracudamaio is right by the best beach in Maio. It is also in short proximity to the village of Morro. The village of Maio can easily be reached by communal taxi for some lunch and Minimercados. Breakfast, coffee and dinners were plenty and delicious. I can recommend staying here for those searching for peace and tranquility! I enjoyed taking one of their dogs for daily walks on the beach. I really enjoyed my time.

The extreme kindness of Mona and Christof, two wonderful, welcoming and helpful people. We didn't feel like just guests but an integral part of the place. It was very pleasant to be asked if we were coming back for dinner, in fact dinner with them was very special and fun. For any information they were extremely available to help us. The excellent breakfasts and the location of the place, if you have a rented car, is very convenient. We wanted to stay longer, but the ferry was waiting for us! We hope to return soon Alice and Martino
